I have been practicing the buttercream flowers for a while now. Its not as easy as they show in some of the online tutorials. Atleast for me, It did take quite a bit of time and practice.

Everything matters if you want them to be perfect and slightly OOTD person like me. The tips, piping bags, correct buttercream consistency, your hand angles, positions and on and on.

I started with the off brand tools first and got quite frustrated at why they say its easy on some of the videos when it is clearly not. But once I got the correct tips and bags and corrected the consistency issues, I made good progress.

These are the simple vanilla choc chip cupcakes with buttercream frosting flowers. I made roses, mum, poppies and sunflowers. The mixing of gel colors is definitely fun.
I am still learning on a great deal of different stuff which i am interested in. But its been fun and great sense of achievement in my own little way.

So, please enjoy these flowers as I learn and share with my blog family. Let me know what you think.
