My first Stripes Cake

Ok, I am slowly gravitating towards Buttercream world these days. I love trying and creating different styles of cakes & cupcakes and that’s what you are going to see on this blog sometimes.

I kind of found my passion with baking and its turning into interesting hobby where I am creating the designs and making the cakes in real life. Its nothing fancy but in my own little world, in my own little way I am trying to make it more sweet for birthdays and other occasions.

This is my first try at stripes cake and I am more than happy with end result although there needs to be ton of improvement. Patience and slowing down are what you need for this cake.

The Cake itself is my Vanilla Cake recipe and the Buttercream recipe is this one I am using.
