Advent Calendar with My own Cakes

December starts from tomorrow and I want to make my own advent Calendar. I celebrate Christmas with as much spirit as I celebrate Diwali. So, this year to make the festive season fun and my own, I want to bring few of the Cakes I made more like Advent Calendar.

No, I don’t sell my cakes or cookies or any of my baked items. Although it would be lovely to have my own small home based business. But, I live in New Jersey where the state has yet to pass a “cottage food” law that permits small, home-based entrepreneurs to prepare and sell baked goods that are perfectly safe, such as cookies, muffins and breads.

The non-profit company NJ home bakers association has been tirelessly working on this issue. Hope we will have some good news very soon.

In the mean time, I want to share few cakes I made for Friends and Family through out the year!

After all, Christmas is about spending time with family and friends. It’s about creating happy memories that will last a lifetime.

I will be posting one cake I made from scratch everyday until Dec 24! Each Cake is made for a friend or family member for a very special occasion.

What better way to show my love towards them through my passion and make those happy memories last forever with my cakes??

Maybe you saw these cakes on my blog before – I still want to you come along to enjoy the cakes one more time and be merry!
