I feel Blue & yellow combos are the most famous. Atleast that’s what happened here!

Ducks Cake:- Made for nephew to celebrate his 2nd birthday. He loves his ducks

Marble Cake:- Made as a Thank you to Boy Scout Leaders with a surprise!

Cake Deets:

  • Flavor : Chocolate and Vanilla Cake
  • Frosting: American Buttercream
  • Accompaniments: Buttercream, plastic ducks, sprinkles

  4. That looks so cool with the candy busting out! Are those M&Ms or Skittles or something else? Why don’t they melt when you bake it? Oh, duh. I looked again and realized the layers. (embarrassed face here!) Guess you could add any candy or surprise then! What a fun idea!!! 🙂

    1. 🙂 I had exactly same thoughts when I saw the surprise cake ideas on tv first time. No embarrassment there. It is supposed to intrigue us first time around. They are M&Ms Easter candy. I did sprinkles and other wrapped chocs in other cakes. Some even hide money(for older kids birthdays) in a small food safe cylindrical bottle. The ideas are endless and fun! Often surprise for birthday girl or boy!
